Questions?
I’ve got answers.
Even if it seems like a silly question, ask it. There’s no such thing as silly questions, and it’s important to me that you feel completely comfortable before your session! If you don’t see an answer below… just use my contact form to reach out!
Do I have to get naked?
NOPE. I mean, you can, but you definitely don’t have to. It’s not in any way a requirement, and we can capture badass intimate imagery without you taking off your clothes if that’s more your vibe. Intimacy is an attitude, not a state of clothed/unclothed.
Where are you based, and do you travel?
My studio is nestled in the heart of McKinney, TX, serving as the epicenter of creativity. However, I’m not bound by geographical constraints and readily embark on photographic expeditions across Texas and beyond. A nominal $50 travel fee ensures I can join you on your adventures, with an additional charge of $1 per mile beyond 30 miles. For longer journeys exceeding a 3-hour drive, additional considerations for accommodations and fuel may apply.
Can I suggest a location?
Of-fucking-course! I’m always open to new locations, if you’ve got something in mind. If you DON’T have something in mind, that’s fine too! We can talk about your vision for the session and choose a location based on that. The opportunities are endless.
What's your style?
Immerse yourself in a world of electrifying hues and cinematic allure. My signature style is characterized by neon-infused imagery that pulsates with energy and captivates the imagination. Specializing in boudoir, high fashion, fine art, and Cosplay photography, I blend boldness with sophistication to create images that resonate on a visceral level.
How long are sessions?
Each session is a bespoke experience tailored to your unique vision and desires. Typically spanning 1 to 3 hours, the duration may vary based on the chosen location, creative concepts, and the number of outfit changes. For those seeking the ultimate transformation, allocate an additional 90 minutes for the meticulous application of makeup and the styling of your hair. Elevating your aesthetic to new heights!
How far in advance should I book?
Secure your place in my schedule by booking at least 6 months in advance with only a non-refundable retainer, particularly for sought-after dates and seasonal shoots. My calendar fills quickly!
Are you 420 friendly?
Mmhmm, indeed I am. And that can be included in your session or NOT included in your session. Sometimes I even have mini-sessions specifically intended for a group to come hang out and have a good time (if you know what I mean.)
I've never done this before, what can I expect in a session?
Mostly chill vibes, if I’m honest! For the first part of your session, we spend a little time getting to know eachother, and getting you comfy in front of the camera. It doesn’t matter whether you’ve done this before and are a pro, or if you’re totally new to photo sessions – we’ll make sure you’re comfy, and then capture you in your element!
What about wardrobe and stuff?
Some things I have in my client closet, but we can talk about the specific vision for your session and get really clear on what wardrobe elements will help us achieve the look you’re going for. You can bring things, or not bring things, or wear things, or not wear things… it’s all about what you’re looking for!
When will I see my photos?
Within 3 days of our session, you’ll receive a preview of 2-3 images to satiate your appetite. The full gallery, meticulously edited and polished, is typically delivered approximately 4 weeks after our session. If you choose to order products from the gallery, they will be delivered within 2 weeks of your approval, ensuring a seamless and timely process.
Can I reschedule? What's the fee?
Life is unpredictable, and sometimes that means plans have to change. Should the need arise to reschedule our session, a fee of $175 ensures the seamless transition of our creative collaboration. This fee covers administrative costs and compensates for lost bookings during the reserved time slot.
Become a VIP
Did you know that I have a VIP group? I post all kinds of info about deals, special offers, and even sneak peaks from sessions from time to time. (Also memes. There are definitely memes. And the memes are fun, so you should join us.)
Testimonials
It's SUPER important to me that my clients have a great time, and love their images! Read a little bit about what THEY think!
"To fully understand how much this photo shoot meant to me, let me first start by saying after an assault back in December my face was scarred. I am a bigger girl, I always have been. My body has never been something I had pride in, but I was always told I had a pretty face. After the assault my face, the one thing I felt made me beautiful, was now also marred. I had an appointment booked with Jordyn with the intent of giving budior shots to the person who would be my ex husband by the time the photo shoot rolled around. I almost cancelled. A freshly scarred face, a body I never had the opportunity to "fix" and the emotional complexity I was dealing with after my assault, it all made me feel anything but beautiful. However as the date approached Jordyn would send me messages and ideas and I grew confident enough to show up, at least. As soon as I walked in I was at home, I was among friends. Instantly I was made to feel completely comfortable, my hair and makeup were beautifully done and as the session started, and the nerves began to Creep back in, Jordyn knew exactly how to put me at ease. She expertly posed me in ways that made me feel confident and sexy. She gave amazing direction so I could move my body appropriately, however she not once made an effort to cover any of the things I felt were flawed with my body, instead she celebrated my curves and my face. She gave me confidence in who I truly am and what I really look like. Her style is real, it's true to who she is and to her subject. She has an incredible ability to find the raw beauty in the people she photographs.
That photoshoot gave me back an amazing amount of confidence that I had lost over the prior 6 months. She brought me back out of my shell in so many ways. I will forever look at those photos and instead of thinking "Oh look at that completely edited version of myself", I will be able to say "Look how beautiful I truly was, in all of my parts" and I am eternally grateful to her for that."
